A: Butler County Area Vocational-Technical School offers specialized career and technical training to eligible high school students in Butler County. Course work centers in these high priority occupational areas: trade, technical, mechanical, production, and service.
Q: Who can apply to BCAVTS?
A: Depending on individual home school district policies, students completing 9th, 10th, or 11th grade may apply for admission to any one of the programs.

Other school districts may send students on a tuition basis upon approval.

A: You will spend a two-hour portion of your day at BCAVTS and the remainder of your day completing academic requirements at your home school.
Q: Can I still attend college if I take a BCAVTS course?
A: Absolutely! You can even earn college credits in some BCAVTS programs.
Q: How do I earn college credits while at BCAVTS?
