Health Officer: Butler County AVTS is seeking to retain a consultant or consultants with a background in the physical, mental, or behavioral health settings, and must possess excellent communication and organizational skills. The contract period for services shall be March 3, 2023 through June 30, 2024, within the days of Monday – Friday. The consultant will perform duties relevant to public health, school safety, and will assist with developing streamlined internal and external communication. Consultant must be able to obtain Acts 34, 114, 151, 168 clearances, and physical examination. Please submit a consulting proposal which includes the full name, contact information including address and email, description of relevant experience, three references, proposed hourly rate, three letters of recommendation, and copies of professional certifications or licensures relevant to the contract. Deadline for submission is February 24, 2023 or until services are filled. BCAVTS is an EOE compliant educational organization.
Instructional Aide: Monday – Friday 7:40 a.m. – 3:10 p.m. following the school calendar. Potential candidate must have excellent communication skills, knowledge and/or background in the career and technical education fields of automotive technology and/or heavy equipment/diesel technology. A successful candidate must be able to obtain Acts 34, 114, 151, 168 clearances and physical exam required. Substitute Custodians: Daylight and afternoon shifts to clean and maintain buildings and grounds. Requirements include and are not limited to: confidentiality, communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, manage priorities, and work independently and efficiently.
Substitute Secretaries: Candidates must demonstrate confidentiality, excellent communication and organizational skills. Requirements include and are not limited to: attention to detail, ability to multitask, manage priorities, work independently and efficiently, proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis in Word, Outlook, Excel, and Publisher. Associate degree preferred. $100 per day.
Substitute Supplemental School Nurses: Requirements include LPN or RN license and excellent communication skills. Candidates must demonstrate confidentiality, excellent communication and organizational skills. $100 per day.
Substitute Teachers: Openings available in all program offerings. Requirements include: related trade/industry experience or post-secondary degree/certification or an active PA teaching certificate. Additional requirements include and are not limited to: confidentiality, excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to function in an instructional role for students in grades 10-12. $100 per day.
