Parking Information
The BCAVTS student parking lot is separate from the Butler HS student parking lot, our available spots are limited. Students are not permitted to drive during the first two weeks of school. During the first two weeks the Permanent Student Driving Permits Requests are processed. Please visit the Front Office for assistance with your parking requests.
All students who are interested in driving to BCAVTS, including students who attend a cyber school not associated with their district of residence, and homeschooled students wishing to purchase a Butler County AVTS parking permit.
BCAVTS will begin accepting parking permit applications starting Monday, August 12. Students must bring their completed parking permit application with all appropriate signatures along with their payment to the school starting Monday, August 12, and submit their application no later than 3 p.m. Thursday, August 15, to apply for a parking permit. BCAVTS has a limited number of student parking spaces available for purchase, they will sell out, and we will unfortunately not be able to provide a parking permit to every student who applies. Priority is given to students who are homeschooled and have no district transportation provided, students attending BCAVTS from an out of district cyber school, 12th grade seniors and then 11th grade juniors. The cost for a parking permit is $75.00. Students who are not in possession of a parking permit are not permitted to drive to BCAVTS. Parking permits will be issued and available for pickup starting at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 16, once all completed applications have been reviewed. Parking Permits are sold only for the duration of the session a student is scheduled. Butler Area School District students are not provided parking permits unless they are a homeschool or cyberschool student who is not otherwise eligible to apply for a Butler ASD parking permit.
